Earthbound Birth provides compassionate, evidence-informed care for women and families who want a grounded, connected, physiological birth experience. My work centers on protecting the conditions that allow labor to function as it was designed to. My approach blends intuition with knowledge, advocacy with softness, and steady presence with deep respect for the natural unfolding of birth.
Earthbound Birth exists to bring you back into your body, your voice, and your own authority. Birth is not something to be managed; it is something to be witnessed, protected and trusted.
Behind the Scenes
My name is Jacquelle Amado and I am the founder of Earthbound Birth. I recognize that I live, work and learn on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan people
I am a full-spectrum Doula and Registered Holistic Nutritionist serving the Okanagan. I am a mother to a beautiful daughter who is the light of my life.
My work is grounded in the belief in birth both as a physiological process and a profound rite of passage. It centers around building trust, offering clear and compassionate guidance and creating a steady presence so you feel confident in your choices and in your voice.
I support families through pregnancy, labor and the postpartum season with care that is intuitive, evidence-informed and deeply respectful of each client’s unique experience.
I walk with families through whichever birth path feels right for them without judgment or agenda.
